Fingabox utilizes top quality High Capacitive touch screen units that are CE approved. The units are glass fronted which means they will not scratch easily or tear and are not affected by wet fingers etc. These are ideal for non-attended areas. All internal multimedia computer panels and power supplies are CE approved. The power unit is housed within a black metal galvanized rack casing and uses approved electronic connectors. The computer does not use a Windows operating system or hard drive and is capable of operating 24/7 without creating any heat.

Made of merante, a natural timber from sustainable forests throughout; the wood has been specifically chosen for its unyielding qualities in high humidity as it will not allow flexing of the primer or finishing paint coats and will not warp.

Each leg unit is substantially bolted on with wooden location pegs and secured with a large wooden capped zinc plated bolt which is screwed into an integral nut housing inside the main cabinet. There are no fixings or appendages to any parts or surfaces of the cabinet or seat assemblies. The seat can be used by one adult and one child and is totally flat based and stable.

The paint is water based and has a satin polyurethane finish that is chemical resistant and suitable for aggressive environments. It proves to be the ideal finish if the product is to be widely handled. It has an aesthetic finish which provides a good mar resistance. Professionally spray painted by Albaspray  it has a life environmental award granted by the European Community

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

Fingabox units are free standing and only require a 110/230volt mains socket. The units current and voltage requirements are comparable with any domestic personal computer. Installation area required with seat is 1metre by 1 metre and in a 1 metre proximity to a mains socket. 

RISK ASSESSMENT:

The internal CEO approved shielded power supply is within the rack mounted computer system which uses minimal dc supply voltages, 5 and 12 volts dc. There are no electrical connections whatever to the external wooden cabinet. The Capacitive Touch Screen Display uses a 12 volt supply and exhibits no radiation or static electricity unlike a cathode ray tube monitor. There are no sharp or protruding parts to the wooden cabinet and it has a water based paint finish. The cabinet kiosk is extremely well balanced and stable.
